The Winslow Hotel
WHEN:
Spring 2022
Junior Year
2nd Semester
The Winslow Hotel was a team project with my partner Natalia. We designed the space as a team and each assisted with space planning, furniture and material selection, programming, and construction documents.

This was one of my favorite projects because we were able to be so creative with our design solution and design custom furniture pieces.
Design Concept Statement
The Winslow hotel is a place for people to experience Fargo in a way they never thought was possible. The space will be designed in a Mid-Century modern style with accents of industrial features taking advantage of the historical materials left from the original design of the Fargo Ford Building. Preserving the historic elements already in place and incorporating the modern design of the Winslow’s brand, we create a unique experience for all guests that stay with us (Moreno Perdigon et al., 2021, p.2). With its luxurious materials and its rich colors, the guests will feel welcome, comfortable, and spoiled while they are on their visit. Our hotel will have spaces dedicated to exercise and host business events, plenty of room to relax in the lounge, and a large café and bar to have breakfast in the morning or a drink during cocktail hour (Khosravi et al., 2014, p.39). The whole space will be a great escape for anyone looking to get away and a wonderful experience in the historic Ford building located in the lively Downtown Fargo
